And you don’t necessarily have the capital at hand to buy a new coffee machine? This was why we decided to start the machine rental side in Rubica Coffee. A lot of our clients have started with renting a machine.
Example: We had a new coffee shop in Durban renting one from us. Within 7 months the client of ours built their clientele and upgraded to a two-group traditional espresso machine and grinder.
We also have lots of clients that prefer renting a coffee machine, because they don’t have time to worry about the maintenance side, and they like being able to phone a tech on our side should they have any questions or need any assistance.
We have decided to go against the mainstream and norm in the coffee industry of having our clients sign a fixed-term contract, and we offer our clients a month-to-month agreement, working mainly with trust.
As a smaller company, one thing we strive to keep is maintaining a personalized touch and delivering exceptional service. Geographically we have clients renting from us all over South Africa.
